Cheshire Land Trust and students from Quinnipiac University's "Big Event" tackled invasives at Fresh Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Big inroads were made to remove autumn olive, bittersweet and multiflora rose. Our thanks to the Q-Big Event's Tommy C. and his frat for their hard work from our soon-to-be-planted with natives dry meadow. Great Job! Thanks also (always) to CLT's lead steward Nick Motmans, Bill Stanley and Katie Bateson for chainsaw power!
