CLT 2022 Annual Meeting
The Cheshire Land Trust Annual Meeting of members will be held on April, 5 2021, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Catch up on what’s happening at the Land Trust, enjoy a craft beer and learn a little about Cheshire’s transportation history at the 2022 Annual Meeting
After two years on Zoom, we are thrilled to announce that our annual meeting of members will be held on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at Cheshire Craft Brewing, located at 125 Commerce Court, STE 7 in Cheshire. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase and we’ll have some light snacks. Plan to arrive a little early to visit and grab a drink and something to eat before the meeting begins at 7:00. p.m.
The meeting will feature Cheshire resident and author Richard DeLuca, who will speak about the history of transportation in Connecticut. Mr. DeLuca is the author of two books. His first, “Post Roads and Iron Horses”, traced the history of the Farmington Canal and the railroad line that came to replace it. Mr. DeLuca’s second book, “Paved Roads and Public Money” tracks the 19th century bicycle craze in Connecticut through the state’s response to the advent of the internal combustion engine in cars, trains, and aircraft.
