Charter Members & Past Presidents
On March 26, 1969, a special meeting of the Cheshire Conservation Commission was called by Herbert J. Cran, Jr., Chairman, to initiate the formation of the Cheshire Land Trust, to be organized for the purpose of preserving the natural resources of Cheshire. The meeting was held in the Council Chambers in the Cheshire Town Hall.
Mr. Cran invited several individuals to the meeting. Atty. Socrates H. Mihalakos was asked to preside as organization moderator and the following residents were elected that evening to serve as officers and members of the Board of Directors.
